Good points on Twitter, especially on a subscription model. My single best investment is Netflix, which shows what a committed CEO and executive group, and a subscription model, can yield. The ad-based model is lazy, and unfortunately because of human nature, incredibly effective and efficient. Someone needs to develop tech that will nuke ad-based businesses… and force lazy execs into a subscription model if they want a prayer of “monetizing” their users. Kind of a utopian-capitalist-conflicted dream.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is a mistake, and is one of the cancerous cells metastasizing in our government and society:

Anyone in a position of influence who gives the least credit to QAnon is mentally deficient and morally corrupt. The least Twitter can do is what they are doing - labelling her tweets - which is ultimately such a lame response. Normal folks are kicked off the platform for an incredibly unoffensive faux pas compared to the vitriol people like Greene spew.

Long term though, who really cares about Twitter, and whether they should succeed. Social media companies like them, FB, and others are built on technology to automate and monetize our endorphins and eyeballs… such a crude use of technology.

On the other hand, companies like Tesla who are trying to harness technology to reverse centuries of our own climate-changing stupidity, are the ones we should be getting behind, and investing in, and cheering (and calling out when they do dumb stuff like we all do).

;)

Good stuff!
