Hey I,
I am now like a paleontologist, digging up fossils of your primordial poems, digging through strata of digitized time. Doubtless one of the wonders of the medium of Medium!
I love your words, your ideas and mind… but I’m afraid in a superficial way, because I have always struggled with poetry, struggled to understand them.
Can you help me… how do I read a poem like this - how do I dissect it - extract meaning?
There are only six lines in this poem, but I feel like time is compressed under a huge weight within it…
Is the plaster cast of your child or does it remind you of him?
Poetry perplexes perpetually…
;)
