I agree very much with the idea of being active in something bigger than ourselves, our own concerns.
My focus right now is on contributing to the Georgia U.S. Senate runoff elections - because Biden and Harris's win won't mean much if the GOP retains a senate majority. It isn't nearly as heartwarming as our normal charities like housing for the homeless and social justice (and political contributions aren't charities and are not tax deductible)... but I think this runoff election is fundamental to changing four years of damage to all those concerns we normally give to.
