I loved this, I feeel like I've lived this too!

On a completely unpoetic note, Elon Musk's Tesla (a company I've written about perhaps too much) hsa been building solar systems, community-wide distrributed grids based on linking thousands of home roof-top solar and battery packs. This is in addition to the huge utility-scale batteries used to balance the traditional grid.

But it feels like climate change is moving faster than Tesla can possibly do...
