Thank you for this honest view from the inside. I've worked for companies from startups to fortune 100 cos, and this behavior is rampant and typical from what I have seen. I have never worked for a CEO as humane and intelligent as the first female CEO you described - and am not surprised that she was displaced and so thoroughly reversed. Hang in there. Find those rare good ones and work for them - even better become one of them! (I know, easier said than done...) S.D.
