Yeah, I feeel like a dying breed... just ordered a couple more books, as in real paper, and paid much more than the Kindle version, which was more than the free audio book offer!

Then again, I think back to when Gutenburg cranked up his presses and the bards looked at each other in horror and thought they were the dying breed... ;)

I lovee books like they are a part of my anatomy, like my neurons are wrapped in layers of pages from my favorite books. I also think as long as stories are created and shared, the technology by which those stories are carried will come and go like tides and waves, and that should matter (in the end) less than the spark of creativity. But yes, I will protest with you as books lose favor, and will stand with you and yell at an irrational world who could let such treasures pass! Thanks for sharing this! SD
